I am truly shocked at the back/forth communication going on here! Get a life! First of all, no one should have to defend their beliefs and accusing someone of murder when referring to abortion is simply another example of people being extremely judgmental. Maybe people should get their facts straight before making such strong statements. Aborting a fetus in the 1st trimester is killing nothing…Check out the facts. What other people do is none of anyone else’s business…period!!! Republicans are so darn hypocritical.

This was a local TV anchor running as a Republican. The Republican Party and the FCC under the Bush Adminstration can care less about the state of local newscasts. Bush’s FCC more then doubled broadcasting fees for local TV stations. The broadcasting fees have caused local TV stations to make cuts in their news departments. The GOP sides with big corperate media outlets such as NBC, ABC, CBS, and FOX. If the big corperate media had its way they would wipe out local newscasts. How could a person that use to work in local news side with a policical party that looks out for corperate media’s interests insted of the intrests of local media. Anyone who has worked in local media and wants to run for public office as a Republican is an insult to local news. The Republicans would rather give tax breaks for corperate media that can care less about local news then give tax breaks for local TV stations.

Lana: you look at this as an example of moral hypocrisy. I do not.

The unborn are innocent. Convicted criminals are not. It’s that clear cut, I’m surprised you aren’t able to make that distinction.

Certain repeatedly convicted criminal scum deserve whatever cruel fate befalls them, even if it means death, as far as I’m concerned
