Trivedi Gains Political Weight Over Thanksgiving Holiday

Reading, Pa – Following the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, Democratic congressional candidate Manan Trivedi had a lot to be grateful for as the campaign released the names of new endorsers from various elected, party and community leaders. These 16 endorsements represent support from across Berks, Chester and Montgomery counties.

Leading off this post holiday round of endorsements is Montgomery County Prothonotary, Mark Levy.

“Manan is authentic,” said Levy. “He has a firm understanding of what this district needs because he was born and raised here. And because of those roots, Manan reflects and relates to the people of this region.”

Manan Trivedi launched his campaign for the 6th district in September of this year following his departure from the U.S. Navy. Quickly he began to meet with leaders from throughout the district to share his life story and his vision for the region. As a result, those leaders have been offering their support to his campaign.

“Starting the campaign when we did, we knew we were going to have to work twice as hard as everyone else in this race . . . and it is paying off,” said Trivedi. “Through our work and through the conversations I have had with leaders within our community, we have been able to build relationships that will prove positive in winning this election but also in building a better future for the district. I am honored to have the support of each and every person who joins us in that effort.”

Manan Trivedi is an Iraq War veteran and former Lt. Commander in the U.S. Navy. He is also a primary care physician from Reading.
