Former U.S. Rep. & Vice-Chairman of the 9/11 Commission Lee Hamilton Endorses Doug Pike

Ardmore, PA — Today, Pike for Congress is announcing that former U.S. Rep. Lee Hamilton, former chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee and former vice-chairman of the 9/11 Commission, has endorsed Doug Pike for Congress.
“Doug Pike will be a voice of reason on national security and foreign policy in Washington,” said former U.S. Rep. Lee Hamilton. “I’m proud to support him. He will make an outstanding congressman.”
Former Rep. Hamilton joins a long and growing list of Pike for Congress supporters, including current U.S. Reps. Patrick Murphy, Allyson Schwartz, Bob Brady and Chaka Fattah, many labor groups, and other state, local and party officials.
Doug Pike served on the Editorial Board of The Philadelphia Inquirer for 14 years and was the President of a hospital for 10 years. Previously, Pike served as a Special Assistant and Speechwriter for U.S. Senator Paul Tsongas. In 1971, Pike graduated with honors from Princeton University.
The 6th District encompasses parts of Berks, Chester, Lehigh, and Montgomery Counties.
