TUESDAY LEFTOVERS: Corbett’s video, more endorsements & yet another candidate in PA-6?
What a day, political junkies! A candidate gets in. Numbers come out. Oh, and did you know that Arlen Specter used to be a Republican?
Naturally, some stuff slipped by us in this cacophony of political madness.
State Attorney General Tom Corbett has new campaign Web video up about Pennsylvania. It’s moving stuff. Check it out.
And are we about to get another GOP candidate in the 6th Congressional District? The primary is already pretty crowded, but friend-of-the-site Alex Roarty reports that 68-year-old former Thornburgh administration revenue secretary Howard Cohen may soon declare his candidacy.
This race is getting complicated.
And the endorsement march continues. Apparently Lt. Gov. candidate Jonathan Saidel has been endorsed by the state chapter of the Communications Workers of America, while fellow Democrat Manan Trivedi, who’s running for Congress in the 6th District, is being backed by Asian Pacific Americans for Progress and the Asian American Action Fund.
What a day.
