Trivedi loaned his campaign $6K, has $122K on hand
It’s not Doug Pike money, but it’s something.
Democrat Manan Trivedi almost matched the money raised by his 6th District primary opponent in the third quarter, bringing in about $114,000. At the same time, he made a $6,000 loan to his campaign, finishing the period with almost $122,000 in cash on hand, according to campaign finance data.
Pike, the wealthy former Inquirer editorial writer, raised $125,000 during the quarter, but gave his campaign another $110,000. He has kicked in more than $620,000 of his own money toward the campaign so far.
Trivedi was able to almost match Pike’s fundraising haul during just three weeks in the race. While Pike is still widely considered the primary front-runner by most party insiders—and is sure to have significantly more money at his disposal—Trivedi has impressed many Democrats with his early campaign infrastructure and fundraising.

Frontrunner for how long? Mr. Trivedi seems to be turning heads right now and has impressed most party insiders enough to back off Pike for a while. Although some may count him out, I am just very impressed with raising $114k in three weeks instead of $110k in 3 months!
All I can say is that I think everyone should watch out, this race has a long ways to run!
