Dent on GOP’s list of vulnerable incumbents
Congressman Charlie Dent (R-15) is on the National Republican Congressional Committee’s list of five vulnerable incumbents who will benefit from its coming “Patriot Day” fundraiser, Roll Call reports (subscription only).
Dent faces Bethlehem Mayor John Callahan in what is expected to be his most serious challenge to date.
The other House members on the list Mary Bono Mack of California, Patrick Tiberi of Ohio, Lee Terry of Nevanda and Tom Rooney of Florida.
“The political environment has shifted, and there just aren’t five more vulnerable Members who are really in need of assistance or facing a credible challenge,” an NRCC aide told Roll Call.

The Democrats will be lucky to pick up any Republican seats next year.

LOL (KG)!
michael, why do you think the Dems will be lucky to pick up any R seats? It’s not clear to me what the Republicans are going to run on next year. “We stood with the insurance companies”? “We’re glad the U.S. didn’t get the Olympics”?
