Campaign finance reform can cait!

The announcement that the Nobel Peace Prize would be awarded to President Obama baffled many, but got me as aggravated as ever.

This prize is a joke. Look at the past winners who were politicians, a large majority of them are no shock… liberal. That is, from their incumbent country’s liberal party. The notable exceptions are the former Israeli prime ministers, who even if from the Labor Party, are still conservative by international standards.

Not only has President Obama done nothing, and not only has he not taken significant action dealing with his peace and appeasement agenda, but he hasn’t made any progress. The Nobel Prize isn’t about intentions, but actions. So, do all conservatives want to blow up the world, while liberals want to never do anything to hurt it? Oh yeah, I forgot, that’s how it is supposed to work, of course.

I hate the United Nations for the same reason, and this prize is officially, in my mind, a joke.

I hope some day, our leaders will take on international aid on our own and pull out of the UN, quite frankly. And I sure hope that Oslo’s Nobel Committee gets their ideas straight, because I don’t think they like having that title attached to them, either.
