Richard Gordon made a little-noticed announcement late last week, saying that he was “running for the people of Pennsylvania, for our children and grandchildren.”

“If the same politicians keep making the same decisions, then the big corporations will grow more powerful and we the people will have very…

Hoeffel’s not the right fit

Pennsylvanians, Joe Hoeffel is the last person we need as Governor.

By run-of-the-mill Democrat, I mean you should look at his 2007 campaign theme for County Commissioner—”we need more accountability and new ideas” is a tired spiel. Totally original, Average Joe.

If anything Hoeffel what Pennsylvania desperately needs a change from. Hoeffel is…

Congressman Joe Sestak (D-7) pushed for repealing the Defense of Marriage Act Tuesday, arguing in a letter to the Speaker of the House that it is time for the chamber to vote on legislation he co-sponsored that would repeal the 1996 law.

“Since its passage in 1996, the Defense of Marriage Act has discriminated against LGBT Americans by excluding federal benefits from same-sex partners who have been legally married in states that recognize their marriage,”…

Specter, Sestak have different takes on Obama’s state-level politics play

Not surprisingly, Senator Arlen Specter and Congressman Joe Sestak (D-7) have offered up different opinions about President Obama’s involvement in state races.

In an interview with The New York Times, Specter, who is benefiting from Obama’s support, calls the president “the captain of the team.”

But Sestak, who Democratic leaders have tried to nudge out of the race, sees it differently.

“The Democratic Party under Barack Obama did not come into office because of political…
