Half-a-million is not one million
Wrong again.
In today’s story about how much of his own money Steven Welch will spend on his own campaign, I incorrectly stated that Democrat Doug Pike has given his campaign more than $1 million. It’s actually a little over half-a-million, as I’ve reported before and as campaign finance data shows.
A correction has been appended.
Regrets. And thanks to an alert reader to quickly pointing out the error.
UPDATE: I made the same stupid mistake in this story.
