Community organizers gone wild
Over the last few weeks, the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN), has been caught on camera at locations all across the country doing awful things such as giving advice on how to cheat the IRS to a couple who were posing as a pimp and a prostitute.
For those of you who don’t know, ACORN is a group with strong ties to President Obama and many leaders in the Democratic Party at the national, state and local levels. This group has received literally hundreds of millions of our tax dollars to assist Americans in a number of “community organizing” activities. The one that has been highlighted recently is ACORN’s willingness to assist your local pimp and prostitute on how to obtain funding for a brothel that will house underage illegal immigrants who they know will be engaging in an illegal activity.
While ACORN is screaming that these videos represent a right-wing conspiracy and that these were just isolated incidents, a few facts have not escaped these eyes. First of all, weren’t the answers ACORN employees provided to the couple dressed as a pimp and prostitute eerily similar? It makes you wonder if there was a cheat sheet behind the desk at your local ACORN housing office on how to cheat the system to set up a brothel.
Additionally, ACORN fired all of the employees who were caught giving out the advice on camera. Something is up here—should I believe ACORN or my lying eyes?
Apparently being presented with undeniable video evidence that this organization was involved in unscrupulous activities was not enough to convince Senator Bob Casey, Congressmen Mike Doyle, Bob Brady or Chaka Fattah, or the Democratic members of the Pennsylvania state House to stop sending our taxpayer dollars to this corrupt organization.
You better believe that our Party will be making an issue out of this for these Democrats come 2010.
