Biden reportedly set to headline Specter fundraiser next month
Continuing the Obama administration’s political support of Senator Arlen Specter, Vice President Joe Biden will be in Pittsburgh Oct. 19 to tee of a fundraiser for Specter’s reelection, The Morning Call reports.
The event will come just over a month after President Obama spoke at a fundraiser for Specter this week. Specter is also trying to get Biden—who was instrumental in convincing the longtime senator to switch parties—to attend in event in Bucks County.
Specter faces Congressman Joe Sestak in next year’s primary.

Specter’s really pulling out all the stops huh? Obama and Biden in one week…It’s only September.

Putting Sestak away early will save millions later, that are needed in fight against Toomey.
If Specter raises a $1 million for primary, but doesn’t have to spend it on primary, it rolls over for general election against Toomey.

That won’t happen, they will fight to the death!
they’ll be plenty ire for Toomey to benefit from.

Karen-
That certainly what Toomey is counting upon, and Sestak will likely be voted the MVP for Toomey’s campaign.
