A house of czars?

Over the weekend, President Obama’s “green jobs” czar Van Jones resigned his position from the White House. Jones, a self-avowed communist, was heavily criticized for being a radical who was arrested multiple times, pushed for the release of convicted Philadelphia cop-killer Mumia Abu Jamal and even signed a petition in support of the 9/11 “truther” movement.

The White House, already reeling from the health care debate, is hoping that Jones’ resignation will end the public outcry over Obama’s czars. Unfortunately for the Obama administration, I believe that Jones’ resignation will not only result in more scrutiny in not only who the czars are but also shed light on the process of appointing these individuals to high-level White House positions without being elected by the people or confirmed by the Senate.

Americans deserve to know who these czars are, especially if they are working on the public dime and advising the president on any number of important issues.  Americans want to know if we have radicals and communists working in the White House. (By the way, what does it say about our President and his agenda that he has a self-avowed communist working closely on his staff?)

The Van Jones appointment and resignation will serve as another political issue on the campaign trail as the Obama administration and the Democratic Party continues to pull our country further toward a leftist agenda.

Jones was the first czar to fall, but I bet there will be more…  Obama’s delicately-built “house of czars” may not stand much longer!
