Granted, I understand he was trying to appeal to the ultra-conservative part of the Republican Party in an attempt to beat Sen. Specter in the primary, but this just smacks of him jumping to the center to gain moderates for the general. So the real question is, Which is the real Pat Toomey? I find this suspect considering the Pat Toomey I saw in previous elections was extraordinarily far right.
