Specter’s town hall: ‘God will judge you’

Even though I personally don’t favor a government-run health care system or the so-called “public option,” I did find some irony in the statement of the man who stood up before Senator Arlen Specter at a health care town hall and said those forever remembered words. God will judge you negatively for giving health care to more people? Look, I’m sure the guy favored some type of health care reform, 65 percent of Americans do. However, that statement I think makes more of a fool of the GOP’s constructive argument about the practicality and finances of a government run system then it helps anyone, other than the late night comics.
