However, we don't live in that universe. Specter has the money, the name recognition, and a good voting record as a Dem. His votes make headlines; Sestak's votes don't. Specter can "define" Sestak, which will cost money for Sestak to reverse and define himself. There is no amount of money Sestak can spend to change people's minds about Specter. If he wants to get dirty, he's going up against one of the toughest campaigners in Pennsylvania history. But if he sticks with the issues, he has to face a man who has forgotten more about how to help Pennsylvania than Sestak knows. Either way it should make for pretty good television.
