Specter sounds like a bitter old man. Way past the time he should have retired. Will be nice to have someone more youthful, who is interested in public service, not personal service, and who will be a Senator with intellectual integrity. My money is on Sestak.

The Sestak campaign became the “Little Boy Who Cried Wolf” over the past few months with the non-announcement announcements. After a while, most people realized he was running, so his “official” declaration was not only anti-climatic, but has come after Specter has had several months to get comfortable as a Dem and meet important groups.

Sestak “timed” his launch when people are paying the least attention and as interest in the race is waning, since Specter is showing himself to be a decent Dem.
