Sestak sees poll numbers improving
PHILADELPHIA—Congressman Joe Sestak (D-7) sounded upbeat Wednesday night about the latest Rasmussen poll that showed him gaining on Senator Arlen Specter. The survey showed him trailing Specter by 13 points, a gap six points narrower than in June.
“I guess anything is an improvement,” he told pa2010.com after a long town-hall style meeting on health care ended here. “Those are good poll numbers—better than before.
The poll showed Specter with 47 percent of the vote, compared to 34 percent for Sestak.

The same poll showed Toomey beating Sestak 43% to 35%.
This is a reversal from Rasmussen June that had it Sestak 41% Toomey 35%.
That’s a +6 to -8 swing against Sestak.
