Ryan Costello Launches Congressional Campaign Website—6th District candidate also files formal FEC paperwork, Statement of Candidacy

By RYAN COSTELLO FOR CONGRESS

PHOENIXVILLE, PA – Ryan Costello, a candidate for Congress in Pennsylvania’s 6th Congressional District, announced today the launch of his campaign website at www.ryancostelloforcongress.com.  In addition to his website launch, Costello now has a presence on social media networks such as Facebook and Twitter and he officially filed paperwork this week with the Federal Election Commission to form his campaign committee and announce his candidacy.

“I am very pleased with the level of support I have received since announcing my decision to run for Congress,” said Costello.  “Local residents are ready for a fresh face in Congress, someone who won’t go down there and play the typical political games.  With the support of voters, I am going to fight to pass balanced budgets, to hold the line on taxes, to cut government waste and abuse, and to help create jobs.”

“I will also continue to work on issues that I have a successful track record on, such as open space preservation. My experience as an attorney working on economic development and community revitalization projects in Phoenixville and other urban centers will be an asset. As Congressman, I will look to secure infrastructure funding for much-needed transportation, water, sewer, and other public projects in the 6th District.  I understand how these projects work and that experience will allow me to better serve area residents.”

“On any issue, whether it be healthcare, the environment or job creation, there are certain basic elements that I think most of us can reasonably agree to.  We need leaders in Congress who will start with those basic points of agreement and fashion public policy from the center, not from the extremes in either party.  As Congressman, I will bring a common sense approach to the issues and work to build consensus based on my elective office experience, and as an effective attorney in the private sector.”

The website will be updated periodically with additional information, including Costello’s detailed positions on the issues, upcoming campaign events, and other information. Ursinus College, and Villanova Law School and an attorney with the law firm of O’Donnell,

Costello serves as Recorder of Deeds in Chester County and is the former Chairman of the East Vincent Township Board of Supervisors.  He is a graduate of Owen J. Roberts High School, Weiss & Mattei, P.C..
