ObamaCare must be debated

As you may have seen on the national news, health care town hall meetings have been quite interesting lately, as countless Americans have been vocal in expressing their outrage over government-run, taxpayer-funded health care.

First of all, I want to assure everyone that contrary to what many Democrats have been saying, these events are not being orchestrated by the party. Americans are upset and they should be concerned about anything the government wants to run.

Here a few things you can expect if ObamaCare is enacted:

1. Higher Taxes – Under ObamaCare, you will face a major tax increase!
2. Fewer Choices – Under ObamaCare, you won’t be able to select your doctor and treatment will be rationed by the government!
3. Long Lines – Under ObamaCare, you will have to wait weeks, months or possibly years for treatment!

Democrats needs to realize that Pennsylvanians have deep concerns about President Obama’s push for government-run, taxpayer-funded health care and they are demanding a thorough debate on the issue.

This will be a huge issue next year as it seems that both Democratic candidates for Senate and the Democrats Congress seem to be on board with the administration’s push for ObamaCare.

Republicans will continue to oppose any bill that would tear apart the best health care system in the world.  Republicans will support commonsense market-based solutions, but refuse to embrace big government solutions that will increase costs and decrease the level of health care service many Americans have grown accustomed to and deserve.
