Welch Campaign Update
By STEVEN WELCH FOR CONGRESS
Dear [Xxx],
I am excited to tell you that our campaign is off to a great start and wanted to provide you a brief update.
I have been overwhelmed by the number of people that have reached out offering assistance and support to our campaign. As someone who has never been in politics, I had no idea what to expect when we entered this race. What I have quickly learned is that I am not the only one exhausted with partisan politics and leaders who are more concerned about their own political future than what is right for our families and communities. People from both sides of the aisle are clearly looking for leadership that understands how the decisions in Washington affect us day to day.
We have recently opened an office at 17 Veterans Square in Media, PA, and it reminds me of the first one we opened when I started my business many years ago. It is small and plain, and filled with energy about the coming challenges.
We also launched a competition to design our logo at www.99designs.com. Take a look at the current submissions and tell us what you think.
In the coming weeks we will have several opportunities to get involved in fun events that can really have an impact on this election. Please continue to check back at www.WELCHforPA.com to see how you can get involved.
You can also follow our campaign and our latest activities on Twitter, or by joining our Facebook page.
We know that there are others out there who believe our government has gone astray and that we need to send responsible leaders to Washington. We need your help in finding them. Please forward this email to any friends and family who share your interest in getting our country back on track.
Sincerely,
Steven Welch
P.S. — Our opponent is continuing his tour of the Commonwealth to see if he wants to seek a promotion to the United States Senate, despite his poor record in Congress. We all know where the leaders in Congress have gotten us to today, and the 7th District deserves a full-time Congressman, not a part-time candidate.
