The Sestak Report: another flip flop

The Sestak Report — July 16

In the Erie Times News on July 3 Cong. Joe Sestak said he didn’t want to run for Senate until Sen.  Specter switched and ‘they’ said he couldn’t.

“I didn’t have the fire in the belly when they first asked me,” he said. “The fire came when they said ‘sit down.’”

But in today’s Williamsport Sun Gazette it says: “Sestak said he decided on a Senate bid even before Specter decided to switch his party affiliation from Republican to Democrat.”

So, which is it?

When did Sestak decide to run for Senate…a campaign that he still hasn’t officially announced for…
