The Knox Campaign today announced it has become carbon neutral by offsetting all carbon emissions produced by the campaign during its travels throughout Pennsylvania.
“I believe everyone should do their part to help prevent climate change…and that includes our campaign for Governor of Pennsylvania…While I know this is just one small step in the fight against global-warming, it’s a step I am proud our campaign has made”

Voters are irritated by a prolonged recession and by intractable squabbling in Washington. Populist anger over the lack of progress is likely a contributing factor to polls like the one released yesterday, showing

“There is this acceptance, though I would say it’s often a reluctant acceptance, that the federal government is going to have to do much to take us into the…

Several readers have rightly pointed out that the Quinnipiac poll released this morning could have yielded somewhat innacurate results by including basically the same amount of Republicans and Democrats. I’m not sure if Quinnipiac accounted for this, but it doesn’t appear to be factored into the final tallies.
Democrats outnumber Republicans by 1.2 million voters in the state now, so the results could be off. I still think the poll is important to note, and…
