Anyone paying attention in the 4th?

Mike Turzai has said he will decide on a Congressional race in the 4th District by the end of the month. However, I wonder if he is the most viable candidate. As incumbents do, the more elections you win the harder you become to beat. With Jason Altmire nearing that stage, even in a conservative district, would Turzai have a performance like he did years back, when he captured 32 percent? Yes, he wasn’t a leader in the state House then, but it begs the question.

But a few months back Rick Santorum tapped Turzai and Jane Orie as conservative Specter primary opponents before the switcheroo. Well, I believe Orie is in the district, so maybe she is being overlooked as a congressional candidate?

Two Words, One Name- LYNN SWANN. He thought about it in 2008 and instead yielded to Melissa Hart, who should not run again. So, why not 2010? When you start with 100 percent name recognition, you can get right down to business.
