Thoughts for primary night
Still in NY and likely to be for some time. We’ll know soon how well the GOP has overcome ballot position to nominate its chosen judicial candidates. And, of course, how many people bother to turn out, now that more and more Republicans have become Independents… or worse.
No surprise that Gov. Rendell hasn’t done much for Arlen Specter. Like just about everyone else, he’s waiting to see which way the wind blows, which so far hasn’t been Specter’s way. I’m still looking for Sestak against Gerlach or another moderate Republican, and a relatively close race at that, although if you read the other Livingston blog you’ll find Specter coasting. And he’s right more often than I am.
