The morning after, revisiting first impressions on Sestak

I just posted a Press Room story about Joe Sestak’s PR blitz yesterday. Check it out.

It gave me a chance to reevaluate my early reactions from yesterday, which were kind of off base. I wrote that I was surprised Sestak was jumping into the race so soon. But as the above story and my updated news story make clear, no announcement has been made.

It is fair to say that Sestak’s candidacy is all but assured at this point. When he makes it official is anyone’s guess. But I think people who say he’s waiting for Arlen Specter to make some kind of horribly anti-Obama vote are right.

When that happens is anyone’s guess.
