It’s almost summer and it is getting to be graduation time. Gubernatorial hopeful Pat Meehan was invited to make an appearance at one graduation ceremony, where he delivered another warning message to corrupt politicians and CEOs.
The warning came during a commencement address at Neumann University, a Catholic college in Aston. The Daily Times reports that Pat Meehan spoke of a general lack of public trust in American institutions.
“It started in corporate boardrooms symbolized…

Please meet the newest member of my family. She’s a 10-week-old baby girl, a Poodle-Retriever mix. She arrives in Philadelphia June 2 and I’m very excited.
So in the time-honored tradition of exploiting our pets, I’d like to announce the first—and only—pa2010.com Name-My-Dog Contest!
Got a good name for her? Post it as a comment or e-mail me. If you pick the winning name, you’ll get to choose a specific question for…
Full StoryStay strong on card-check Arlen
I’m going to cheer for Arlen on staying strong against EFCA, assuming he actually sticks to that position (no small assumption). Flipping would be such a political ploy, even for him.
Full StoryObama and the 2010 races—Looking ahead
Still busy with family matters, but I wanted to take a moment to talk about Obama’s 100+ days and their implications for the 2010 elections.

They talk Senate race, budget and other stuff. Makes me want to start a pa2010.com podcast.
2009 sets the stage for 2010
The 2010 elections are still a year away, yet they are already serving as an important backdrop for this year’s critically important odd-year election season. The statewide judicial races have far-reaching implications for both the 2010 cycle and beyond, as the hard work and successes we earn this year will put our Party in a much stronger position heading into next year’s U.S. Senate and Governor races.
Our chances to deliver important statewide victories in…
Full StoryFinal thoughts on Specter’s switch
Thoughts on Arlen, here I go ranting again! Warning… Conservatives may find this offensive!
Full StoryWill Specter cooperate on Johnsen nomination?
President Obama still doesn’t have a head of the White House Office of Legal Counsel, because Senate Republicans have continually threatened to filibuster of Obama’s nominee, Dawn Johnsen. Johnsen, a fierce critic of the Bush’s abuses of executive power who once stinted as the legal director of NARAL, is anathema to the pro-life, right-wing crowd. Yet it seems mysterious why Senator Arlen Specter, who is purportedly pro-choice and who recently introduced legislation placing limits on…
