PA DEMOCRATIC PARTY CHAIRMAN RELEASES STATEMENT ON THE PASSING OF FORMER LT. GOV. ERNIE KLINE

HARRISBURG: Pennsylvania Democratic Party Chairman T.J. Rooney today
released the following statement on the passing of former Lt. Gov. Ernie
Kline who served under Gov. Milton Shapp from 1971-1979:
“The Pennsylvania Democratic Party and all of the members of the Democratic
State Committee are deeply saddened by the passing of former Lt. Gov. Ernie
Kline who was an exemplary public servant, Democrat and friend to so many.
“Lt. Gov. Kline was a humble man who went about the people’s business
dutifully and continued helping others navigate the channels of government
and politics successfully. We offer our deepest condolences to his family
and to those who knew him, respected him and were impacted by his leadership
in Pennsylvania.”
