Nutt back with Corbett

Brian Nutt, the GOP operative who managed Attorney General Tom Corbett’s reelection campaign last year, is back on board as the campaign manager for Corbett’s exploratory gubernatorial run, PoliticsPA reports.

Nutt said an official announcement about Corbett’s candidacy would come sometime in late-summer or early-fall.

Any word on whether he is still collecting his $110,000 (or more) salary from the Office of Attorney General? How much work is Nutt doing on state time as he both manages Corbett’s gubernatorial campaign and serves as Corbett’s Chief of Staff in the OAG? How can the COS for a huge agency credibly wear both hats…and keep politics from intruding?

Go Corbett! Let me know if I can be of any help to the campaign.
