Mottola sticking with Specter

Republican media consultant Chris Mottola has confirmed widespread rumors that he is sticking with Senator Arlen Specter for his reelection bid as a Democrat.

Mottola, who had declined to confirm or deny such rumors last week, told The Washington Post that “to me, personal loyalty is an uncomplicated concept.”

“From what I understand, everyone has stayed with Arlen aside from those whose livelihoods essentially require them to work for a Republican,” Mottola said.
