Focus shifting from economy to national security?

I imagine that most political analysts will tell you that the economy will be the No. 1 political issue next year, but that could be changing. I am really beginning to get the feeling that our country may be focused on a dangerous world environment, as I believe the potential for another terrorist attack has drastically increased over the last few months.

Don’t believe me, look at the news! With news that North Korea successfully tested a nuclear bomb and Iran moved warships into international waterways, President Obama and his Democratic colleagues need to realize that their foreign relations policy rooted in appeasement has only emboldened our enemies. Talk of closing the terrorist prison at Gitmo hasn’t earned our enemies’ respect or stopped them from hating America; it has only shown them that there are no consequences for their actions.

Stay tuned, as I believe we will be hearing this issue come up often in the Senate and Congressional races next year.
