On NPR, Specter acknowledges ‘bleak’ polls
Appearing on NPR’s Talk of the Nation Monday, Senator Arlen Specter acknowledged the political challenges confronting him, but said he had survived before and would again.
“It is true that the polls are bleak,” he said during an appearance focused on his recent moves to curb presidential powers.
“I’ve overcome challenges before, and I’m working on a game plan,” Specter said.

Specter’s too damn old and weak willed to do this job another six years (especially when he’s failed to do it properly the past six).
It’s time for the PA Senators to represent Pennsylvania, so Casey doesn’t have to play the part of the liberal PA Senator.
