Luksik campaign in the red
Republican Senate candidate Peg Luksik ended March with almost $3,000 in campaign cash—but $3,500 in debt, according to newly released campaign finance data.
Luksik, a conservative activist who is challenging incumbent Senator Arlen Specter, raised a little more than $10,000 in the first three months of the year. Her biggest donor has been Freedom’s Defense Fund, a conservative group in Washington.
Most of her spending was for consulting and construction of her campaign Web site. She still owes Churchill Strategies, the Harrisburg consulting group that designed her site, $3,500.
